Best catfish around! Wonderful atmosphere and staff. We love coming to Tadpoles!!

I love it that not only can you order the scrumptious buffet; you can just get an order of crablegs if that's what you are craving. Which I'm going to do today.

The atmosphere was wonderful i felt like i was at a family dinner not just a place of business. The food was so delicious.. I just wish they would have bo e in fish not just fillets..but over all great place.

They have good, fresh food at a good price. They are clean and have good staff that are friendly. The waitress was good about getting us what we needed and we didnt have to wait forever. Our food was ready in about 20 minutes and that was for 10 people.

The fish and shrimp was bland. Ive ate here for years and its been awesome. Maybe they have a new cook.

Ice cream came out of the machine runny, hush puppies over fried and hard, cherry cobbler overdone and cherries were runny mush. I didn’t know you could ruin a cherry cobbler? $14.99 and you no longer get frog legs free, they’re extra. Staff were friendly but four girls spent all their time chatting at the register, never offered us refills, etc. To me, that buffet rates about $10 per person. Highly overpriced. Should have gone on to Little Rock to Golden Corral.

Fast becoming my favorite local catfish stop. The fish is delicious, bith fried and baked. The buffet includes sides, dessert, and non-fish main courses. Service is fast and friendly. My only complaint is that they are only open Thurs-Sun.

Food is so, so, so, so good!!!!! You need to try it if you haven't yet! Service is good. Restaurant is very big and open, yet still very clean.

Hot fish, tasty shrimp and the rest of the buffet was great. Plus the service was the best. Fifteen of us were in the area to restore power after a winter storm and Tadpole's Catfish Barn was able to accommodate all of us. We appreciated the attentive service and the great food. Fish, chicken, shrimp, ribs, all kinds of veggies...definitely stop by here if you're traveling between Searcy and Batesville, AR. It's worth it.

Have never had a bad experience here with food or the staff. Food is constantly being prepared a d always hot. Deserts are good and the food options and prices great. The staff here is prompt and always checking on you. I would totally recommend this place.

good food staff is ok but the price is a bit much in my opinion.

Even if you don't like catfish or shrimp, the buffet also has chicken, fries, onion rings, sugary doughnuts, and hush puppies. They also have a dessert buffet.

Food tasted good,but if you don't have teeth little hard to chew some things. Going pretty good until I cut my tongue and Roof of my mouth eating sme dressing, it hurt and bleed for a good while!! Couldn't eat anymore after that!!!!

Food was fresh and the candied sweet potatoes were awesome!! Dining room and bathrooms were clean. 4 stars instead of 5 because the place is huge, but only one buffet line. By the time you get to the food, the vultures have picked it clean already. Good variety, though.

The fish was Bland. It also didn't taste like any catfish that I have ever tasted before. I'm from Arkansas so I know what catfish is supposed to taste like. It wasn't bad it just wasn't good. Overpriced also

I have been eating catfish my whole life. The color, texture, and taste is nothing like what I am used to. When I asked one of the buffet workers if it was catfish, she replied "I think so". When I asked the cashier the same question she replied quickly "yes". Later I read that there is a fish being mass marketed here in the U.S. called Asian catfish. My wife and I are regulars of Huckleberry's in Searcy and tried this for a change of scenery. We will not be going back. Expensive as well for what you get. Huckleberry's is priced close to this place, but you do get real U.S. catfish there.
